Wenatchee Valley YMCA

Help local students build confidence, bike skills, and a love for riding! We are looking for volunteers who are comfortable riding a bicycle to assist with or lead group rides for students in grades 6–12. Volunteers will help supervise students, model safe and responsible riding practices, and stay alert to ensure the group follows safe routes and riding procedures. Must be comfortable and confident riding a bicycle. Bicycle not required. Visit www.wenymca.org/bike-co-op to find out more about the Sustainable Bike Co-op! This youth Bike Club After-School program is fully funded with the support of Cascade Bicycle Club, the nation’s largest statewide bicycling nonprofit, serves bike riders of all ages, races, genders, income levels, and abilities throughout the state of Washington.

Volunteers at Lake Wenatchee Camp play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable outdoor experience for youth and families. Nestled in a beautiful natural setting, the camp provides opportunities for recreation, learning, and community connection. Volunteers support daily camp operations by assisting with activities such as outdoor recreation, environmental education, meal service, and camper supervision. They help foster an inclusive and positive environment, encourage participation, and serve as role models for campers. Responsibilities may include setting up and leading activities, maintaining camp facilities, supporting staff with program delivery, and ensuring the well-being of participants. Volunteers are also an important part of building community, helping create a fun, supportive atmosphere where campers can grow, connect with nature, and develop new skills. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, spending time outdoors, and making a meaningful impact in their local community.
